Youth, Livelihoods & Learning Ecosystems
The Jaipur phase grounds students in youth development theory, opportunity structure frameworks, and stakeholder mapping methodologies.
Field immersion in Rajasthan explores how schooling intersects with skill pathways, migration patterns, gender norms, and livelihood transitions. Participants conduct structured interviews with educators, youth leaders, and skill program facilitators while mapping institutional supports and bottlenecks.
The final Jaipur phase converts field insight into scalable youth program interventions supported by theory of change frameworks and evidence-based indicators.
Students will:
-
Map youth development ecosystems including schools, skill centers, NGOs, and community actors.
-
Analyze barriers and enablers shaping youth mobility and aspiration.
-
Evaluate gender and equity dynamics within youth opportunity systems.
-
Design a context-sensitive youth intervention with feasibility testing.
-
