Primary Care, Continuity & Ayurveda Integration
This program explores Kerala’s strong primary health care system while integrating Ayurveda as part of preventive and community health.
Students examine Primary Health Centers (PHCs), maternal-child health programs, community health worker networks, and referral continuity. Parallel sessions introduce Ayurveda philosophy, preventive frameworks, and integration into public health systems.
Field engagement includes community health mapping, service continuity audits, and dialogue with both allopathic and Ayurvedic practitioners.
The final phase centers on a systems-based improvement proposal integrating primary care and traditional medicine.
