India’s Rise to Economic Stardom

India’s Rise to Economic Stardom

THEME OVERVIEW

This program examines mental health as a systems, cultural, and public health issue rather than an isolated clinical concern. Students explore access, stigma, service-delivery constraints, and the national policy architecture through ethically framed observational learning.

The design anchors inquiry in India’s National Mental Health Programme and District Mental Health Programme frameworks, along with Tele MANAS as part of the emerging tele mental health infrastructure.

Students compare biomedical, psychosocial, and culturally embedded coping and healing frameworks using evidence-based first language and WHO-aligned safety standards. The program emphasizes systems literacy, ethical engagement, and analytical clarity.
