OUR PHILOSOPHY
Science-backed, inquiry-driven learning that places direct experience at the center of the educational process, supported by reflection, dialogue, and academic synthesis.
Programs are thoughtfully designed around learning outcomes and local realities, drawing on our deep, lived connection to India and Nepal—not as destinations, but as home contexts where learning unfolds naturally and authentically.

Community-Based Learning
Ethical, long-term partnerships with local communities that emphasize reciprocity, mutual respect, and meaningful engagement rather than transactional encounters.
Place-Based & Problem-Based Learning
Learning rooted in real people, real systems, and real-world challenges, shaped by the social, cultural, and environmental contexts of India and Nepal.
Inquiry-Based Learning
Student-centered exploration that encourages questioning, critical thinking, and sense-making through guided inquiry and structured reflection.
Our Home Advantage

I can NOT stress enough how amazing this program was. The caliber of the speakers we got to be in the presence of and absorb knowledge from was crazy. I could not be more grateful for how well y’all did finding speakers. I also could not thank them enough for taking the time out of their day to educate us. It was phenomenal all around.

My favorite activity was probably being able to enter the first prayer session at the monastery, and hiking in Pelling. I think both allowed for personal reflection while experiencing things that I don’t think could experience otherwise on my own. And being able to listen to lectures made experiencing India a lot more applicable and exciting.

This trip more than exceeded expectations. We so appreciate the time, effort and care that went into its planning and execution. Samrat is our hero! We had such a rich experience, in all aspects. A thousand thanks.

I did not have any struggle with my safety or cultural orientation throughout this trip. I’ve personally never been out of the country much less anywhere by myself besides moving to college and I never once struggled. They thoroughly covered every point and it made things much easier to navigate. We felt like pros by the time we were closing in on the end of our trip.

I am forever appreciative of your entire team. You made my experience in India as pleasant as possible and you allowed me to see enriching without worrying about anything during our trip. Thank you for being such wonderful hosts and guides.
